The "Regulation on the Prevention and Reduction of Major Industrial Accidents" was published in the Official Gazette No. 30702 on March 2, 2019. This public information text has been prepared within the scope of Article 16 of this regulation. It will be reviewed annually. Within the scope of Article 16, except for the confidential parts specified in the safety report, major accident prevention policy document, major accident scenario document, and internal emergency plan, the establishment provides information arranged to include a non-technical summary containing general information about the major accident hazards that may occur in the facility, their potential effects, and the measures to be taken, to those who request it. The operator is responsible for the accuracy of the information.

Preparation of BKÖP Document
The "Regulation on the Prevention and Reduction of Major Industrial Accidents" was published in the Official Gazette No. 30702 on March 2, 2019. Our establishment is subject to the provisions of this Regulation. The notification specified in Article 7 of the Regulation has been declared using the notification system of the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization (BEKRA) as a lower-tier establishment. In accordance with the Regulation, the BKÖP Document Report, which is required to be prepared under Article 10, has been prepared as the facility is classified as a lower-tier establishment.

What to Do in Case of a Major Accident
In case of a major accident, emergency plans are put into practice to manage the accident response most effectively and minimize its effects. Relevant external units are notified. Service groups defined in the plan are organized to carry out the initial and subsequent interventions.
If you learn about a major industrial accident involving chemical products that may occur in our facility, by following the instructions below, you will contribute both to your personal safety and to an effective response for all of us.
How will I be informed in case of an emergency?
- Sirens and public announcements
- Fire trucks, police, gendarmerie
- TV and Radio broadcasts
- Communication
What should I do first in an emergency?
- Stay away from the accident site and do not visit the accident location,
- If you are near the accident area, do not go outside,
- Help those in need such as pregnant women, the elderly, and disabled people,
- Close windows and doors and turn off air conditioners and ventilation systems in homes and cars.
- Follow rescue services and emergency instructions.
- If informed via radio or television to evacuate your area, leave the accident site and move to higher ground.
What should I absolutely not do in an emergency?
- If no notification has been made, do not leave your location either by car or on foot.
- In emergencies, do not occupy phone lines of institutions such as fire department, police, and gendarmerie with unnecessary questions. Provide the shortest and clearest information possible and end the call.
